In 2005 Nordal started a collaboration with composer ThurÃdur Jónsdóttir and mezzo soprano Asgerdur Juniusdottir in a project called Hanaegg (Cock’s Egg). The installation and the performance consisted of 3D animated video and beanbags, music by ThurÃdur Jónsdóttir for electronic and mezzo soprano, text by Olöf Nordal and performed live by Asgerdur Juniusdottir. Next project is a song circle for mezzo soprano, flute, and electronic. The text is based on poems by Eva Hjalmarsdottir (1905-1962), sung by Asgerdur, composed by ThurÃdur and performed inside an installation by Nordal.
