First sound art work: Byt vad du vill mot vad du vill, 2003
I am working as an interaction designer, artist, lecturer and researcher. Most of my recent work deals with collaborative storytelling and playful communication in public or semi public places.
In Byt vad du vill mot vad du vill (Exchange what you want with what you want) I have entered different contexts such as flee markets, public squares and exhibition spaces, and experimented with different ways of enabling people to exchange objects and stories. A vending machine filled with exchangeable objects. When exchanging objects, the participant can record a short message to his/her object. This combination between audio recordings and physical objects allows the participants to find unexpected ways of using the platform. Partly in collaboration with cockpit and Nicklas Marelius.
Similarly (visklek) is totally dependent on participation. (visklek) is a game of Chinese Whispers on answering machines based on everyday stories told by young people in Växjö. (visklek) was carried out together with Åsa Ståhl during 2004 at the Interactive Institute.
Our collaboration continues under the name å+k.
