First sound work: Stockmarket 1999
When I was a kid I often tried to imagine the Infinity of outer space.
And I always failed.
"Infinity" is a concept still too abstract for me to imagine, to think.
Somewhere there is always an end to everything.
Every sentence has an ending.
No wonder I like looped sounds.
It´s strange, sound has no body,
only time brings its extensions in space.
And in real space, outer space, there are no sounds...
I think of my work as a play with identities and spaces.
The work I’m a reporter is a fictionous documentary and deals with the impact of the media.
Another piece of work, Space full of pirates is a chaotic soundscape of asymmetric associations,
an non-verbal story of how hard it is to think of nothing.
Composed out of transformed and disguised everyday sounds
like voice, fire, water, footsteps, kitchen tools that are given
a digitalized extreme makeover.
