Michele Collins

B. in San Francisco, lives in Gothenburg Sweden.

1976-79 Drama/dance studies at San Francisco State University.

1979-80 Dell Arte School Of Mime And Comedy, Blue Lake Ca.

Michele Collins works in a variety of art disciplines: music/sound/voice/poetry, acting/performance, dance/movement and photography/film/video art. Collins has collaborated with artists like the saxophone quartet Position Alpha, Susaku Dormu Dance Group, Moon Dog, theatre prophets Jonathan Paul Cook and Phillipe Gaullier.

Collins is co-founder of theatre group Tajphoon Tivoli.

Presently performing as Getrude Stein on a production about Erik Satie in Gothenburg.
