Started her artistic practise about thirty years ago. Co-founder of the Living Art Museum in Iceland, 1978. Ignited and co-founded the multinational artist cooperation “Experimental Environment” in Scandinavia, 1978-9. Co-founder of Galerie Loa in Holland 1976.
One of the most widely recognized work of mine with audio is the multi media installation Archive – endangered waters that was shown at the Venice Biennale 2003, and recent audio installations are for instance 400 Cubic Meters/Second (2003), Waterfall – Gullfoss (2004), Waterfall – Endangered – Dynkur (2004-5), Vocal I (2005), Vocal II (2006) and Water Vocal (2006), most of which have been exhibited on various exhibitions around Europe and/or in Japan in recent years.
