Kortermand is a visual artist who works with sound, video, installation and live art performances.

Her work of art is focused on female identity, social relationships and problems of modern living.

As a method she often makes interviews and involves people from outside the art world in her projects.

 

She works both on her own and with other visual artists, musicians and people from other professions.

She also invents and organizes extensive art projects and has started up several art organizations and

underground project spaces. She has been performing and showing her works in Europe, Asia, the Nordic

and Eastern countries.
