Anna Carin Hedberg and Ebba Moi

B. 1966/1971 in Sweden, work in Oslo, Norway.

Art Academy in Trondheim, 1995-99, same class.

First sound art work: Changes in the Norwegian landscape 2003.

Anna Carin Hedberg and Ebba Moi made the soundproject Changes in the Norwegian landscape in 2003 by invitation from the Oslo based group BallongMagasinet.

Our work is about Norway – as a changing country. Described through foreign people’s auditive interpretation of the Norwegian language. A whispering game based on a booklet for touristic information about a Norwegian landscape. Is there a hidden Curdish text that Norwegian speakers don’t understand?

With Juan Carlos Gómez, Annie Anawana Haloba, Grant Hill, Farhad Kalantary, Mohammed Ahmed Majid, Lindaci Santos de Oliveira, Michel Pavlou, Sarah Rawlings, Tine Aamodt.

The soundproject was also made live as a performance the 12th of December 2003 at Cinemateket, Oslo.

Produced and initiated by Ballongmagasinet in connection with the project Blindfilm.
