Anne Hilde Neset is one of the directors of The Wire magazine where she works as Deputy Editor. Apart from regularly contributing to and developing the magazine she has undertaken numerous curatorial projects including the cross-media exhibition Invisible London for the Sonar Festival at the Centre Cultura De Contemporana Barcelona, the cross platform series Interference at the Lux Centre (London) as well as programming various events for festivals including Impakt (Utrecht), Ultima (Oslo), FCMM (Montreal), Rooms For Listening (San Francisco), the Wire Sessions series at the Queen Elizabeth Hall (London) as well as Wire festivals with the British Council in Tokyo and Osaka.
She recently started an independent curatorial agency called Electra (www.electra-productions.com) which is currently curating Her Noise, an exhibition of sound art taking place at the South London Gallery in 2005, and developing a sound art course for the Tate Modern. She has compiled ten volumes of The Wire Tapper CD compilation series, as well as a compilation CD of Norwegian avant garde music as commissioned by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in London. She hosts a regular show on London's Resonance FM radio station. She has previously worked at the ICA and Rough Trade.
