Music

I compose and record music using an instrument, two minidisc players and computer speakers. First I play a melody and record. Then I play that recording through the speakers and simultaneously play the piano, and record again. I repeat the process, building numerous layers of sounds and melodies. This is because I lack skill both at the instrument and in computer programs, but have a deep will to compose.

video/music

In my “video/music” pieces, I compose music and develop female characters based on personal experiences enacted in front of a video camera. The characters are set into a void space that might refer to the dark room of a theatre.

In the postproduction, digitally manipulated video images are amplified with a motif usually played on piano.

Cooperations

Video/Music work "Natalie" is included in distribution project of experimental film and video art, Hit the North curated by Anna Linder for Filmform. Lullaby (2000) is featured on “A.N.T.I.R.U.S.T”(2004) a c.d. produced by Serge Comte.
